House Extension Groundwork In Swavesy
Before we could do anything we had to employ a local crane company to lift our 3 ton digger over the roof of the house, as the access at the side of the house wasn’t wide enough. The job consisted of lifting slabs at the back of the house and stacking for future use. Setting out footings using drawings supplied. Pouring Gen 1 concrete into footings and then scraping off oversites to required levels.Laying new foul pipes and manholes, connection into existing foul system.
Installing soakaway in back garden, laying rainwater pipes and manholes into soakaway. Brickwork and blockwork up to block and beam level. Installation of block and beam, finished with cement slurry
Here is what the customer said:
A fantastic job, carried out on time, despite atrocious weather conditions. This included lifting a digger over the house to dig deep foundations, with the work being carried out during 2 weeks of continuous torrential rain! Very impressive work.
