Out with the old in with the new!

This February sees us moving into our new offices @ our Drive-In & Collect yard in Irthlingborough.

We moved into our old offices when we first opened the Drive-In & collect yard in Aug 2013. It started as one singular Portakabin for just the Grab hire & Aggregate operation to be run in whilst the accounts department had a separate portacabin at a different location. As we grew the offices grew from one to two, allowing the accounts dept. to move in with the Grab hire team.

Wasn’t long before we outgrew two cabins and a third was needed for the growing office-based staff. These were all separate cabins and were cut and shut together to form a working office for up to people. We soon realised we needed a more permanent and larger space to successfully run Groundwork and Grab hire operations.

 

Introducing our new offices.

With the new positioning of the offices, it allows us to use up some wasted space in the yard to be able to create a new bay to stock new aggregate and will allow for much-needed customer parking spaces, not to mention other various changes and additions to the yard including a larger shopfront for our customers to buy small hand tools etc. and a new kitchen and restroom/meeting for our employees
